About U1 Garage Doors
A local Connecticut garage door company
U1 Garage Doors is a small, owner-operated company based at 93 Broad St in Middletown, Connecticut. We repair and replace residential garage doors and openers for homeowners across the state.
Who we are
The facts, not a mission statement
We started U1 because most Connecticut homeowners we talked to wanted a garage door company that would actually explain what was wrong, what it would cost, and what their options were — before any work began.
So that became the process on every job: a real inspection of the door system, a written price before we touch anything, and a balance and safety test before we leave. Whether it's a broken spring or a full door replacement, the process is the same.
One more thing worth saying plainly: the job photos on this site are from actual U1 service calls and installations. Any image that is a style reference rather than our own work is labeled “Style example.”
