Our Story
U1 Garage Doors is a small, owner-operated Connecticut company. We started U1 because most Connecticut homeowners we talked to wanted a garage door company that would actually explain what was wrong, what it would cost, and what their options were — before any work began.
We run regular service routes through every Connecticut county. We're not a national call center routing calls to third-party contractors — when you call (203) 292-0889, you reach the same team that shows up in your driveway.
Every service call gets the same thing: a real inspection of the door system, a written quote before we touch anything, and a balance and safety test before we leave. Whether it's a broken spring on a Tuesday morning or a new insulated door for a finished-room-above-garage build, the process is the same.
