A homeowner in Tolland, CT reached out to us when their garage door stopped closing properly. Neither the wall button nor the remote control would get the door to close, and the customer suspected an issue with the safety sensors.

During our inspection, the customer mentioned that another company had replaced one of the sensors about two and a half months prior. Upon further testing, we confirmed that the safety sensor was not functioning. We also noticed that the mounting hardware was completely rusted—an issue that had been left unaddressed during the previous service visit.

We offered to replace the sensors and address the rusted mount. With the customer's approval, we installed new safety sensors and cleaned up the rusted mounting area. Once the installation was complete and aligned, the door returned to full working order and closed smoothly once again.
